why issit that not passing ippt means that i am unable to hold higher responsibilities?
why issit that not passing ippt means that i cannot hold a higher rank?
why issit that not passing ippt means that i cannot get a certificate to prove my work for the organisation for the past 1 year at least?
why issit that not passing ippt means that i cannot even ask my supervisor to write a testimonial for me?
what is so wrong with this whole organisation/community?
it's not like i cannot handle my current work when i failed my ippt.
what's so wrong in expecting a cert just so to acknowledge my work for the organisation and help me get a better edge in social work interviews.
and all this after YOU told me that i can find u to get a testimonial if i wanna apply for a job at SIAEC or any other company for that matter
what is so wrong with YOU!
why issit that you work so slowly!
why issit your information always only seem to appear at the very last minute!
telling me that u cannot give me a certificate just this morning with only 2 weeks left to my ORD is bad enough.
what's worse you're telling me that u cannot even give me a testimonial you wrote yourself?
I'm just asking that you write it as my supervisor and not as in representation of the whole organisation.
they told us that we will all get a certificate to certify that we worked in the organisation when we were posted there...now this!
demoralised...
disappointed...
just let me get out of this...
i've had enough!
on a side note:
a friend of mine got caught at the airport customs for bringing in a flick knife and a butterfly knife.
he didn't know that he had to declare that stuff and the auntie who sold him the knives over in taiwan told him that he can bring those through the customs when he asked.
so goes the conversation as cited by him.
him:"auntie these knives very exquisite but can bring back to singapore through the customs anot ah"
auntie:"can one no worries"
and so he went and brought them back to singapore.
now he's pending investigations from the mp i think hope he's gonna be alright.
now to warn people who read my blog...do not trust those shop owners of other countries when they say its alright to bring it back into your own country..
to sell their merchandise they will definitely say its alright to bring back.
also if u buy anything outside of singapore pls declare the things that you bring back.
at the very least its just paying the duties for the items and not the fine when u get caught.
if that item is not allowed and u don't know, when you declare it they will just confiscate it and nth will happen to you. not like when u get caught for bringing in items that is not allowed and risk getting a fine too.
